Circus Box has been providing it's Childrens Interactive Circus at the Hat Fair since 1994 and this year we will be running circus skills workshops for all ages ( for free ) like we always do.

Starting on the Friday at about 10am on the Cathedrel Green we will be inundated with up to 1,000 children from local and not so local schools and will provide circus skills workshops throughout the day for children of all ages and abilities.

The children not only get to try out some of the skills of the circus on the Friday as we also hold open workshops on the Saturday on the Green from 11am to 4pm with a couple of breaks in between and then again on the Sunday at Orams Arbour (park) 12pm to 5pm.

Children of all ages and abilities are always welcome.

Skills on offer are: juggling, tightrope walking, diabolo (+masterclass), unicycling, devilsticking, pedal-go, stiltwalking, platespinning, club swinging, staff turning balancing and more.

All workshops are of a drop in nature and all children under the age of eight MUST be with an adult.

 

 

 

 

If you have never been to the Hat Fair you have missed some of the best street entertainers from all over the world.

So come this year.
