Circus Skills Workshops

In a fun and safe environment the participants will have the chance to try their hand (or feet) at some of the skills of the circus, such as juggling, plate spinning, unicycling, stilt walking, flower / devil sticks, diabolo, clowning / slapstick, pedal-go balance toys, prop building, performance skills, circus games and exercises. This encourages teamwork, co-ordination, balance and concentration while having fun..

Structured workshops can be held inside or out and last from one hours to five days.
We can cater for up to 20 participants at any one time and with day and repeat workshops we can put
a performance together with the budding artiste's which can be shown to family and friends.

Special Needs workshops.
Greg has over 23 years experience of working with children with special needs, both physically and mentally, of all ages and all abilities, working with the teachers and carers he creates a space for all to enjoy, whether it be juggling with scarves to getting out of a wheelchair and trying a pedal go, confidence, co-ordination, trying something different and most of all fun is the experience they will have.

Drop in workshops can also be held inside or out and last one to five hours.
We can cater for up to 100 participants at any one time (dependent on number of tutors) and all the above skills can be provided.
Drop in workshops are for children aged 8 years and over but there is loads the younger ones can try out, they just need a parent / guardian to supervise them. CircusBox never charge the children directly for the workshops on principal, the event organizers are responsible for this.

Week long circus skills course for 8yrs and over. A mixture of circus skills / performance skills/ prop building and face painting culminating in an end of week performance with the CircusBox mini stage and if outside in The Little Big Top.

Workshops can be held inside or out and if held on a good sized grassy area (80ft x 80ft min)
can be marked with out Little Big Top, a colourful 20 ft. pole
with strings of bunting which gives the effect of a Circus Top
without the canvas. This is the perfect space for the workshops and performances
to be held in, as we can keep the equipment within the surrounding area. (see outdoor events on booking page for details)

event organisers are responsible for this as this gives the children more of a feeling of being part of the circus.
